About

Dana Salah is a Jordanian-Palestinian singer, songwriter, and producer pioneering Fala7i-Pop.

Growing up in Amman, Jordan, Dana Salah spent her afternoons watching vintage black-and-white broadcasts of Umm Kulthum, Warda, and Abdel Halim Hafez beside her grandmother. Those golden-era telecasts, where strings and voices conversed like old friends, planted the seed for what would become her signature sound: Fala7i Pop, a bold fusion of vintage Arab soul and global pop edge, blending reggaeton beats, Palestinian folklore, ear-catching melodies, and classic Arabic instruments that call and respond to one another in dialogue.

After graduating from Duke University with a double degree in Economics and Theater, and followed by early success in New York as King Deco with millions of streams and Billboard-charting releases, Dana returned to the Middle East to redefine Arabic music through empowering viral songs like Weino and Ya Tal3een. The first Jordanian female artist featured on a New York Times Square Billboard, and a Billboard Arabia Best Indie Artist nominee in 2024, Dana has performed worldwide: from The Barbican (London) to Paradiso (Amsterdam) to Estrel (Berlin), establishing herself as a leading voice in the new Arabic pop movement. With her forthcoming debut album, Bent Bladna, Dana continues to redefine Arabic pop for a new global generation, creating music that is both deeply rooted in tradition and boldly forward-looking.
